Starting my career in Australia in 2011, I've had a variety of experiences including agencies, start-ups, and now being a part of an established product design team.

There’s so much I could say, but I’ll try to keep this short for you.
We often hear that people are either left-brained or right-brained, and I don’t mean to brag, but I’m both. I like to get right down to the nitty-gritty of a user’s experience, think strategically through all possibilities, but then produce unexpected solutions.
My passion for web design started with the discovery of HTML & CSS. I found enjoyment in teaching myself this new language that could turn my ideas into a functioning design. Now, although my focus is on design, my knowledge helps me understand technical limitations, and allows me to collaborate with development teams.
My experience over the past 9 years has seen me often working autonomously, having to manage my own time and priorities. With responsibility over the design output and decisions, I must pay close attention to detail. I am proactive not only within projects, but also finding new opportunities to learn, and thinking strategically about the future of the business.
I believe empathy is incredibly important in design, especially when you're trying to create something you want people to engage with and enjoy. Creating products that can improve lives in one way or another is what drives me. I also have an interest in psychology, reading books and articles so I can further understand the how and why behind our actions and decisions.
